Evaluation of chemical agents against mouse transplantable tumors.

The suzrznaxy of results is part of the program, “Special Problems in Chemotherapy―. Results have been reported with many of the compounds in which inhibition of yeast respiratory mutants was compared to that of the wild type yeasts (1, 2, 3 ). Few corn pounds selectively inhibited the imitants bwt in some cases, a mutant was more sensitive than the parents. The compounds studied have been divided into purines, pyniinidines, dyes, quinolines, amino acid derivatives, chioroethyl compounds, carbainates, alkylating and acylating agents, sulfur compounds, phosphorus ccinpounds, ketones and. miscellaneous compounds. The data are displayed in the tables presented at the end of this article.
